Tinies Services for Parents

1.  Getting in Touch & Registering
Phone free on 0800 783 6070 to be put through to your nearest branch who will answer your questions and register you over the phone. Alternatively complete the online enquiry form. This will be sent to your nearest Tinies consultant who will contact you directly for more information.

2. Nannies' CVs & References
Once you have given us all the relevant information your Tinies consultant will send you the details of candidates who are best suited to your requirements. All our childcarers have been personally interviewed by a Tinies consultant, had their qualifications checked, verbal references taken up and details on whether the candidate currently holds a first aid certification or an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) is confirmed to you via the candidate's CV. All Childcarers will either have a CRB dated within the last year which Tinies will verify, applied for a new one through Tinies or will be waiting a job offer prior to applying for a CRB through the Ofsted Childcare Register. Tinies are members of REC and adhere to the strictest code of conduct.

3. Interviewing your Nanny
Once you receive the nannies' CVs it is likely you will want to meet at least one or more of them. Contact your Tinies consultant and she will arrange a mutually convenient time for your nanny to meet you and your family. Your Tinies consultant will continue to arrange interviews until you find a nanny that is right for you and your family.

4. Contracts and PAYE
Once we have found a childcarer that you wish to employ a contract will need to be drawn up between you and the nanny. Tinies provides a standard form contract, which we recommend you use and we will be happy to advise you on the contract as necessary. If you have any general employment law questions then feel free to contact the Tinies head office on 0207 384 0322 and speak to the legal department. Tinies will also advise you on procedures for reviews, PAYE through Tinies Payroll, pay structures, insurance and holidays.

5. Placement Fee and Tinies Guarantee
Once the booking has been confirmed a fee is payable. The fee covers the placing of a candidate and includes a guaranteed replacement should the candidate not work out within the first four weeks.

7. The Tinies Payroll service
Becoming a domestic employer can be a source of concern as well as an administrative nightmare for parents - especially those without a working knowledge of the Tax System. Tinies has its own, all encompassing payroll service using skilled payroll and HR professionals.

8. After Care Service
Because of the selection process, usually the candidate selected is the right one. However, occasionally things do not work out as planned. Your Tinies consultant will stay in touch to help the nanny settle down, by, for example, putting her in touch with other nannies in the area.

9. Training
