We strongly believe that our success is due to our commitment to maintain high standards throughout Tinies. We work closely with REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) who continually update legislation and review health and safety within the childcare and education sector. Tinies is a progressive company, always looking to improve and deliver a proactive, honest and efficient service.
Most of the consultants in our office have childcare back grounds which increases our understanding of placing the right person in the right job be it either temporary or permanent. Our added on services are a free legal helpdesk, up to date information on contracts and training.
For parents: Tinies Surrey North & East successfully covers the whole of Surrey. Our team includes a large nanny desk with two consultants looking after all the Surrey and SW London areas covering full time, part time and temporary nanny services, and wedding creche services (including babysitting); a large nursery section with two consultants concentrating on the Temporary and Permanent nursery market; a Maternity section and an Teachers desk covering supply of temporary and permanent primary school teachers.
Nurseries: The team strives hard to assist all their clients and Tinies members to the highest of standards. Our professional approach has meant fantastic growth as providers of Nursery Nurses, Nannies, Emergency Care, Creche events and Babysitters. We are the preferred provider of Nursery Nurses to Nursery chains and many smaller independent nurseries. We assist Day Nurseries with Permanent and Daily Temporary staff, an emergency supply service for Nursery Nurses and Nursery assistants as well as Deputy Managers and Managers. We can provide staff for both long and short term assignments.
Teachers: Our office runs a Teachers desk for the supply of Primary school teachers and Teaching Assistants on a permanent and temporary supply basis. We can provide staff for both long and short term assignments.
Creches: For corporate clients, major events and weddings there is our Mobile Creche service offering childcare from 4 hours to whole day or evening events.
Our Consultants
Managing Consultant, Vanessa Udall: Is a qualified NNEB with fond memories of her nannying days. She has two children Lawrence and Henry who have also had a lovely nanny. Her career over the last 15 yrs has been within senior management of a fast moving commercial recruitment industry. Vanessa brings with her a wealth of both practical and personal experience.
She is aware and sympathetic of the needs and concerns of both the parents and the nannies. She is totally committed to providing all Tinies customers with a first class dedicated personal service.
Nursery Recruitment Manager, Hannah Lacey: Since qualifying with her NNEB Diploma Hannah went straight in to a nursery setting starting off as a Nursery Nurse then to Room Leader and then in to Management. She also worked abroad for Mark Warner holidays completing a summer season in Greece as a Head of department and then as a Creche Manager of a hotel in France for the winter season. Once returning home she wished to stay within the childcare industry and joined Tinies in 2004. Hannah started as a recruitment consultant and was promoted to Nursery Recruitment Manager in 2007 she manages a team and is also the main point of call for clients wanting a mobile creche facility.
Hannah assists nurseries to find new permanent members of staff from Nursery Assistants Nursery Nurses and Nursery Managers. Hannah believes with her background in a nursery setting clearly affiliates her with staff members and the need for high quality staff.
Nursery Recruitment Consultant, Louise Dodson: Since completing her NNEB Diploma she has worked in a variety of childcare settings as a Nanny, and later did a season with Thomsons as a Family Children's Rep in Spain. On returning home she started working within a Nursery, and started there as a Room Leader, and then later as a Nursery Manager. In 2007 Louise joined Tinies and provides Nurseries with temporary staff on a day to day basis or on longer term bookings. Nurseries can call anytime from 7.30am to 6.30pm and request staff. Finding high quality reliable staff is always a challenge and one that Louise believes is paramount to running a busy support team.
Education Recruitment Consultant, Nicola Greenwood: Nicola's background consists of 8 year in the Travel industry before moving into recruitment where she has 4 years experience. Nicola has opened the First Teaching Service for Tinies. She is responsible for building an up and coming Education/Play Scheme service. Nicola is currently supplying Primary Schools with Qualified Teachers and Teaching Assistant in the Surrey and SW London area. She also supplies play schemes in the school holidays providing qualified teaching staff with work in the school holidays. Nicola also runs an on call service from 7.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday; this is to ensure that both clients and candidates are able to contact her at a convenient time for them and in emergency situations.
To ensure she provides the best service, Nicola ensures her candidates and clients get a reliable and honest service and makes sure all candidates are contacted on a regular basis and clients have a call back within 1 hour of giving a booking. Nicola also takes time out to visit Schools and Play Schemes to ensure she has an insight as to how they run so she is better able to match their requirements.
Nanny Recruitment Consultant, Diane Bann: Once qualifying Diane worked as a Nursery Nurse and a Nanny and has also worked in a busy office setting; she has always loved children and being part of their development. Diane started with Tinies in 2008 and is in charge of placing good Nannies into families. She aims to provide an excellent service to both families and Nannies and that it is really important to keep in contact, as she know how frustrating it is when someone says they are going to call back and they don't.
Nanny Consultant, Lisa Lindsay: Is a mother and works full time for Tinies she runs the Live-In Nanny service along with the Temporary & Emergency Nanny service. This role also encompasses babysitting and proxy parenting requirements!
Lisa finds her role very gratifying she reassures parents and only uses Nannies she knows are able to fulfil their requirements. She said she is proud to work for Tinies Childcare and says she is totally committed to the quality of service she offers to her carers and the clients. She only uses childcarers who come up to our high standards as at the end of the day we are dealing with parents most precious commodities.
Accounts, Debbie Smith: Is a mum of two girls and manages the invoicing and all accounts/finance related administration for the office. Debbie has worked with Vanessa since 2001 and had previously worked with Vanessa for many years in a previous recruitment industry.
